Tour the school with us
See the classrooms, the computer lab, the kitchen and the boarding wing. Ask the teachers anything. Bring your child; we would rather they saw it too.

We will tell you which documents to bring for your child’s class. If your child is moving from another school, bring their most recent school report.

Fees depend on your child’s level and on whether they board. Call or WhatsApp the school office and we will send you the current fee structure for day and boarding pupils.

Joining from Tanzania
Families from Tanzania are welcome, as day pupils or as boarders.

Placement: Kenya teaches the Competency‑Based curriculum. We assess every child who joins from another system and place them in the class that fits where they actually are, so bring your child’s most recent school reports.
Documents: bring your child’s passport or birth certificate. Ask us before you travel about the paperwork a pupil from Tanzania needs to study in Kenya, and we will tell you what to prepare.

Before you call
Do you take both boys and girls?
Yes. Lenkai is co‑educational from Pre‑Primary through Senior School, in class and in the boarding wing. The rescue programme is for girls.
Can my child board?
Yes. Both girls and boys board. This year 65 girls and 52 boys live at school alongside our day pupils, with a dedicated Rescue & Boarding Head, a school chef and a caterer. Ask about space when you visit.
Is there a school bus?
Yes, the school runs a vehicle with its own driver serving the Kimana area. Ask us which routes we currently cover.
When does the school year start?
Lenkai follows Kenya’s national school calendar of three terms, starting in January. Call or WhatsApp us for this year’s term dates.
Can I see the school before I decide?
Please do. We are always happy to welcome you directly on campus. If you are travelling from outside Kimana, call first so someone is free to walk you round.
