Lenkai Christian School teaches every class from Pre‑Primary to Senior School on one campus. Families from Kimana, from across Kajiado and from Tanzania are welcome.
Classes
Where your child fits
Lenkai follows Kenya’s Competency‑Based Curriculum, so your child can stay with us from their first day of school to Senior School.
Pre‑Primary
PP1 and PP2. Early reading, numbers, play and creative activities for the youngest children.
Primary
Grade 1 to Grade 6. English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, CRE and Creative Arts. KPSEA at Grade 6.
Junior School
Grade 7 to Grade 9. On the same campus, ending with KJSEA at Grade 9.
Senior School
Grade 10 from 2026, Grade 11 from 2027. We are also carrying our Form 3 and Form 4 students through to KCSE.
Day or boarding
Come each day, or live at school.
Day pupils come from Kimana and the villages around it. A school vehicle with its own driver serves the Kimana area; ask us which routes it covers.
Boarders live at school during term. This year 65 girls and 52 boys board, looked after by a Boarding Head, with meals cooked by the school chef and caterer.

A strong emphasis on developing intellectual knowledge, skills, attitudes and Christian values of each individual child.
A computer lab
Pupils learn to use computers in the school’s own ICT lab.
Music, drama and games
Teachers lead music, drama and poems, and a games department runs sport.

Supporting Lenkai
Together with the Hope Beyond Foundation, Lenkai also gives girls who have nowhere safe to go a home and a place in school. If you would like to help, there are several ways to support the school.
